Faith & Xavionna (big sister)

Dre (little brother)

This past Sunday was my friend's daughter, Faith's birthday party :) It was held at the West Sacramento's Recreation Center, and WOW!! That place was awesome!! Indoor decorations were amazing with the Little Mermaid's "Under the Sea" theme, and check out this cake!! Faith, along with her big and small buddies were having a ball at the pool. Happy Birthday, Faith!! xoxo

Marty, Kim, Colin, & Chase Photo Shoot!!

Yesterday, I had an awesome photo session with a family of two handsome/cute energetic boys!! Chase was literally chasing the ducks & having a time of his life! Colin was eloquently reciting his governor's speech, and talked about how he'd rule his people (looked quite distinguished, I might add!); too cute!! Mom and Dad joined in and played around with the kids, which was great to photograph :) Thanks, guys!! P.S. Colin, I promise we'll have a mini playdate when I come over to show you the pictures next time!!

Max & Rowan's Photo Shoot!!

Today was Max & Rowan's photo shoot, and did we have fun or what?! Rowan LOVED blowing bubbles (check out those lips!!) and Max LOVED chasing and "eating" bubbles with his new friend crocodile (or is it an alligator, hmmm?). With mom, dad, auntie, and uncle's help, our photo shoot was a breeze! Thanks everyone!!

I had LOTS of fun these past few weeks with friends and family :)

FIRST: I didn't actually go to Hollywood, but felt like I did when Noriko and Tarin allowed me to practice my "Hollywood 1940's Glamour" shots with them. It turned out to be like a fun & crazy mom's slumber party (minus the actual sleeping over since we do have kids to go home to!)!! We had a blast!! Check these SUPER HOT MAMAS out!! I'm very pleased with my first attempt at these types of images; thanks juicy working mamas!

SECOND: My friends from Bakersfield came to visit me for 3 days, and we had soooooooooo much fun :) We also had the opportunity to visit our capitol building, and I was floored by the beauty of our history... It is a must visit "staycation" destination when you have a chance!! They also had a small display room with American flags from the civil war era... To think that some patriotic citizen sewed each and every one of those stitches gave me goosebumps...
THIRD: I went to Las Vegas with my mom for 2 days, and the best part was watching the Lion King's musical!! OMG, I had goosebumps AGAIN all the time! The costumes, stage setting, and music was all superb! You have to check it out!!

Well, until next time! Good drama, bring it on!!

Happy 4th of July, EVERYONE!!

#5 #6

WOW!! What a great 4th of July we had!! My kids and I attended our very first fireworks show in Davis with other family members, and what a blast it was!! The music was awesome, food was amazing, and the company topped the cake :)

I was able to successfully photograph some amazing fireworks. Here are a few of MANY incredible images that I was able to capture. I loved their colors and shapes so much that I kinda went CRAZY on the saturation and made unique and creative images to satisfy my artistic curiosity :)

My goal for next July 4th: own a wide-angle lens and capture more of what I see that's exciting; fireworks AND people enjoying them!!

Which one is your favorite?

Mmmm, YUMMY photo session!!

Boy!! I don't know what came over me, but I wanted to buy lots & LOTS of yummy pastries, and that wasn't really for my tummy!! It was to take photographs of them for something like a food magazine assignment. I wanted to expand my portfolio and had a blast doing it!! Check it out!

Which one is your favorite dessert?

New website launched!!

Yeah!! FINALLY, my new website is launched! I love it, and hope you guys enjoy the new look :) www.lemonnlimephotography.com

By the way, for those of you that live in Davis, you may have noticed this building off of 2nd street (Mori Seki Company) alongside the railroad tracks. Photography is so amazing! Who would have thought that what your eye sees and what the camera captures could be so different, especially when you wait an extra 30 min.!!
Check out the difference between the 8:30 PM & 9:00 PM images (with a bit of photoshop).
